Jesus’ command to sell everything and give it to the poor, and Jesus’ statement that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to go to heaven (Matt. 19:23-24) imply support for an estate tax that affects only the wealthiest of Americans and is inconsistent with tax plans that favor the investor class.
