The early church was socialist; they shared all things in common (Acts 4:32-35). This passage, and the command to love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27), are proof that State welfare and taxing the rich at a higher rate for redistribution to the poor is God’s will, and that unregulated capitalism is not.
