Digest of Biblical Civil Law

The fact that Deut. 22:22 says that  both the man and the woman who commit adultery together were to punished by death should lay to rest the odd claim that under the Mosaic system only a married woman and not a married man could be guilty of adultery.  The Law provided for the death of the man, whether married or not.
